FAQs
What Does “Memory Care” Mean?
Memory care is a personalized lifestyle we offer to those living with memory and cognitive challenges like Alzheimer’s, dementia, and Parkinson’s disease.
Cognitive problems like these require a unique sense of care and understanding. Our memory care lifestyle can help create a safe, secure environment with various programs and activities that bolster our residents’ mental well-being.
Our caregivers receive special training on cognitive challenges, and our apartments are designed to promote safety, security, and comfort.
When Should I Consider Memory Care for My Loved One?
Everybody is different, so there is no “one size fits all” answer when choosing memory care for your loved one.
However, memory care is a fantastic choice if your loved one’s needs exceed their regular caregiver’s capabilities or resources. Because many cognitive challenges can lead to episodes of confusion and wandering, memory care can also provide your loved one with a safe, comfortable environment.
Why Should I Choose The Club at Mattison?
It’s never easy knowing when you should consider a memory care community for a loved one.
However, providing support during the early stages of memory and cognitive impairment could help your loved one find a balance between living the life they want to live while also finding the support they need.
We even open our doors to couples who may be looking for individual support while living together. Having a loving member to live with can also help the transition into our care.
We’re here to support your loved ones in any way we can. The Club at Mattison ensures your loved ones have compassionate care and loving support during every moment of their life.
How Much Does Memory Care Cost?
Residents pay a monthly rate depending on their apartment size, lifestyle, and additional services and amenities. When you come in for a tour, we’ll be happy to walk you through some of the prices involved with our memory care program.
