What type of care services do you provide?

At Mattison Crossing we provide assisted living, memory care, short-term respite stays.
Our assisted living neighborhood offers semi-private, studio, one bedroom and two-bedroom/ two-bathroom apartments. Each apartment has a private bathroom and kitchenette.

Our memory care neighborhoods offer semi-private, studio and one-bedroom apartments in a safe, secure environment specializing in caring for those with Alzheimer’s and other dementias.

Our Residents can receive assistance with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility), as well as help with medication. Three restaurant style meals per day, a robust lifestyle and leisure program, scheduled transportation, weekly housekeeping and laundry, cable and phone are all included in the price.

Yes, we offer on-site therapy services available to the residents whose physicians recommend physical, occupational, or speech therapy through Fox Rehab Services.

Yes, we have several doctors that visit the community on a regular basis. This includes primary care physicians specializing in geriatrics, and several specialists such as a podiatrist, psychiatrist, cardiologist, dentist and many more.

Yes, there is a licensed nurse in our community 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Yes, we provide scheduled transportation service to local physicians.

Yes, couples can stay together at Mattison Crossing. We offer The Club at Mattison, a specialized neighborhood that welcomes couples who may require different cognitive and physical care services but desire the benefit of living together.

The cost of living in an assisted living or memory care community typically depends on the size/type of apartment and the services/level of care the individual needs. Assisted living neighborhoods are required to disclose all available services and fees.

No, neither Medicare or other health insurance plans pay for the cost of assisted living or memory care.

You may qualify for VA Aide and Attendance which helps cover some of the costs for veterans and their spouses. Long Term Care Insurance Policies may also cover some of the cost of assisted living. We can provide you with additional information.

No! You pay monthly and can always give 30 days written notice and move out any point. There is a one time community/ move in fee but no large security deposit.

Yes! We encourage residents to bring their furniture, furnishings, and keepsakes to make their new home as familiar as possible.

Yes, Mattison Crossing welcomes animals 20 pounds and under. As long as you are able to care for your pet they are welcome to join you!

We have a robust activities calendar with a mix of different events and activities each month, designed to keep our residents engaged and active.

Respite care is a short-term care option for when:

  • You need a much-deserved break
  • You are going away on vacation or have other responsibilities
  • Your loved one is recovering from an illness or a hospital visit
  • Your loved one wants to experience our community without the commitment 

Respite care benefits everyone. If you need to take a break from caregiving for whatever reason, you can trust that your loved one will be in great hands.

Respite care is a short-term care option, but it can be personalized to your and your loved one’s needs. Here, respite care can last for as long and as often as you need.

The Club at Mattison is Monmouth County’s only early-stage memory care neighborhood. This unique lifestyle is designed to provide memory care and cognitive support for those in the early stages of Alzheimer’s disease, dementia, and Parkinson’s disease.
